Our Board
The current Board members are:
CHAIRPERSON
Marcelle has over 20 years in the Health and Community Services sector. Currently Marcelle is working part time as a senior mental health professional with Great Southern Mental Health.
Previously she was a manager in the Great Southern Health Executive team responsible for 6 hospitals, population, community and mental health services.
BOARD MEMBER
Will Piercey joined the Committee of Management in 2023. He has worked with the Cooperative Bulk Handling Group for 18 years and is currently the General Manager of the Albany Zone overseeing the storage, handling, and export of the Western Australian grain crop within that zone.
He has a strong interest in the sustainability of regional communities, having lived and worked across various regional areas.
BOARD MEMBER
Joe Paradza is an experienced Senior Occupational Therapist with over 18 years of dedicated experience in patient-centered care. He has a BSc (hons) in Occupational Therapy from the University of Zimbabwe and a Master of Business Administration from the Australian Institute of Management. Joe has a proven track record of leadership and clinical expertise. He has also played a key role in the transition of clients to the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) and has extensive experience in assessment, treatment planning, and rehabilitation for individuals with various conditions. Joe is passionate about making a positive impact in a senior role and is skilled in strategic planning, evidence-based practice, and advocacy.
BOARD MEMBER
After a career in Banking management and finance, Sandie currently works for the Dept of Education in corporate services. Sandie was an Elected Member of Council with the City of Albany for 8 years, including the last two as Deputy Mayor.
Sandie has served as a member of a number of community committees, and is active in the community as a volunteer.
BOARD MEMBER
Carolyn is a lawyer with 11 years post- admission experience and 30 years in the law industry as a whole working in various areas of practice.
She relocated from Perth to Albany 4 years ago and currently works as a Senior Associate for HHG Legal Group in Albany.
Although her first time serving on a Board, she brings to the role years of critical and strategic thinking in problem solving, leadership skills and working to professional and ethical standards
Our Staff
CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER
Dr Moira Watson commenced on the 5th May 2025 as Pivot’s Chief Executive Officer.
Moira holds a PhD in Business Management and is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, the Governance Institute of Australia, and the Australian Institute of Management WA.
She brings extensive senior leadership experience across the corporate, education, and not-for-profit sectors, including roles with BankWest, MacMahon, Edith Cowan University, and Murdoch University.
Moira has a long history of governance roles in profit for purpose and currently serves as Board Chair for Chorus and is an HBF Councillor.
